Renewing Your License Print E-mail

The rules require you to renew your license in order to continue in an active status. The active status allows you to practice architecture and use the architect title in Oregon.  The Board is currently processing renewal applications for registrants who hold an odd numbered license.  If you do not renew within the deadlines your license will expire 6/30/11.  Renewal forms for 2011 were mailed out this May.  If you hold an odd-numbered license and have not received a renewal form, please contact the Board office or find a generic renewal form here.  In order to maintain your active status, you are required to renew whether or not you receive any forms or reminders from this office.

Renewal is on a two-year cycle.  The fees and process for renewal depends on whether you hold an even or odd-numbered registration.  Please click on the appropriate link below to find the correct information for you to use:

It is your responsibility to make sure the Board has your current address on file. If you move or wish to change your official address of record (or any other contact information), you must submit a written notice informing the Board of this. OAR 806-010-0095 requires licensees to immediately notify the Board in writing. This will allow you to continue to receive information from the Board that could affect you.  Renewal notices are normally mailed out in May.  If you do not receive your renewal by June 1st of an odd or even numbered year (2011 = odd numbered licenses and 2012 = even numbered licenses), please contact the Board office.

If you have particular questions, please feel free to visit our web page on frequently asked questions about CPE or you may contact the Board office directly.
